Local Chiropractor Makes Chiropractic Care AffordableJuly 20, 1999 Dr. Karl Johnson, Director of the Chiropractic & Nutrition Wellness Center, announces that chiropractic care is now more affordable for everyone. The clinic offers many programs from pay-as-you-go programs to pre-pay programs to family programs to wellness programs for those on maintenance care. “These programs will help everyone get the care they need at a price they can afford. Most people come to the clinic because they are in pain,” said Johnson. “Only after they experience relief of the primary pain do they begin to understand the benefits of regular chiropractic care. When people become Practice Members, they experience these benefits, which include positive structural and postural changes, healing, improved quality of life, functional improvement, slowing and/or stoppage of spinal degeneration, relief of stress and tension — all with no drugs or needles being used.” Johnson added, “Our Practice Members enjoy more energy, improved immunity, better sleep, improved athletic performance, and quicker recovery from illnesses such as colds and flu. These people know that chiropractic adjustments correct the cause rather than treat the symptoms and that adjustments get one back to work faster and usually prevent surgery. These Practice Members have learned that chiropractic adjustments ‘add years to life and life to years.” The Pay-as-You-Go Plan is simply that adjustments are paid for at the regular fee at the time of service. Many Practice Members have health insurance that covers all or part of their adjustment fee. These people pay a co-pay whenever they get adjustments. These and others who are interested only in short-term relief of their symptoms can benefit from this program. The Unlimited Care Program is designed for Practice Members interested in long-term corrective care. This program is designed to make chiropractic care available to everyone. By committing to one year of chiropractic, one can save more than $1,800.00. This program can be paid in one payment (includes a 10% discount) or in four or eleven payments made by pre-authorized credit card payments or pre-dated monthly checks. The Family Unlimited Care Program is designed to enable entire families to benefit from chiropractic care. As with the Unlimited Care Program, families pay one price for one year of care. Payments can be made the same way as the Unlimited Care Program. The Wellness Care Program operates in much the same way. It is a lower cost version of the Unlimited Care Plan. Practice Members who have corrected their sickness care and who are now stable and coming in only for maintenance care are offered the chance to receive adjustments at a discounted fee.
