WELLNESS OPPORTUNITY WEEKS TO BENEFIT HURRICANE VICTIMS

“Victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita will benefit from the Chiropractic & Nutrition Wellness Center’s Wellness Opportunity Weeks or WOW,” said Karl R.O.S. Johnson, DC, director of the clinic. The benefit scheduled from October 17 through October 29 will offer a $35.00 special rate to all interested in exploring chiropractic and/or nutrition counseling as well as current patients.  All monies collected will be donated to the Red Cross to benefit the hurricane victims.

            “We want to help those who suffered so much from the massive destruction of both hurricanes,” added Johnson.  “Every fall we offer the community the opportunity to experience chiropractic and nutrition counseling for a donation to a community charity.  This year I feel that we need to help those who have lost everything.”

For their $35.00 donation to the Red Cross, new chiropractic patients will receive a health history, consultation and exam, and two x-ray views (most insurances cover additional views if needed) valued over $200.00. 

For the same donation, those seeking personal nutritional guidance can receive a health history, a computerized Symptom Survey, consultation and exam, the heart rate variability test, and their personally designed clinical nutrition program valued over $60.00.

            Dr. Karl Johnson has been serving the Shelby/Utica area since 1983 and is a frequent lecturer on nutrition throughout southeastern Michigan.  He is located at 50258 Van Dyke, Suite E in Shelby Township.
