FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHIROPRACTIC AMERICA
LAUNCHES THE
“BACK Outdoors…with Chiropractic of Course” PROGRAM.(Shelby Township, MI) –In an effort to increase the public’s awareness of the importance of spinal health and how it relates to outdoor activity, chiropractors nationwide will be providing free spinal screenings during the months of May and June as part of the “BACK Outdoors…with Chiropractic of Course” program. Local chiropractor, Dr. Karl R.O.S. Johnson, a member in good standing with Chiropractic America, will be scheduling these free screenings at different times throughout these months. According to Garrison Pomeroy, President of Chiropractic America, ”Spring is upon us and people will be moving their activities outdoors. Many outdoor activities such as gardening and sports recreations cause an increase in physical activity thus increasing the potential for back problems. I feel that the public should be made aware of these potential problems that usually occur from the inactivity that the winter months bring. That is why we are reaching out to the public through our member chiropractors.” This effort, co-sponsored by The Spinal Health Institute, a non-profit organization, has been brought forth to provide everyone with the opportunity to find out more about their own spine and the importance of good spinal health. Chiropractors can provide insightful information about the importance of a healthy spine, good posture and useful tips for preventing injury. Chiropractic America, the nation’s leading
chiropractic information and referral resource, takes pride in its participation
in the “BACK Outdoors…with Chiropractic of Course” program by its
membership. In a time when healthcare professionals are working longer hours and
being paid less, it takes a caring individual to be willing to take time out of
his or her day to give back to the community. ####
