Local Chiropractor Seeks Members for MS 150 Wellness TeamApril
19, 2000 Dr. Karl R.O.S. Johnson, D.C. of Shelby Township’s Chiropractic & Nutrition Wellness Center is seeking members for his third annual Wellness Team to bike the MS150 on June 10 and 11. The annual Michigan MS 150 starts and finishes at East Kentwood High School with an overnight at Hope College in Holland. The MS
150 Bike Tour provides an experience that tests your strength, character, and
challenges you to have fun. In
addition to seeing our fabulous Michigan countryside, bikers enjoy energizing
snacks, technical and medical support, lunch and encouraging volunteers.

Deadline for registration is May 31 and the Team is building now. The MS
150 Bike Tour benefits multiple sclerosis, a chronic, often disabling disease of
the central nervous system. Symptoms
may be mild such as numbness in the limbs or severe — paralysis or loss of
vision. The progress, severity, and
specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances
in research and treatment are giving hope to those affected by the disease.
